Hello, people of mongolia
Whatever country we come from , whatever colour our skin is we all have one thing in common: we are all people of the world.
I’m so happy to tell you about my mongolia. Mongolia is really rich, with nodamic culture, wonderful country and situated in the northern part of central Asia. In 1203 the mongolian state was formed under the leadership of Chinggis khan. We are Chinggis khan’s descendonts. All people of our country are proud of Chinggis khan.
Mongolia is one of the largest countries in Asia. In the north mongolia borders with Russia and in the south with China. Mongolian total area is 1.5 million square kilometres. Ulaanbaatar is the capital of our country. The population of mongolia is about 2.800.000 /two million, eight hundred thousand/.
Nature of my country is very beautiful. The sky is blue, forested and woody. There are four seasons summer, autumn, winter spring. Summer is short but winter is long and very cold. Some parts of our country are covered with mountains and hills. The biggest chains are Altai, Khangai, and Khentii. There is the Gobi desert in the south. There is no sea in mongolia but there are many rivers and lakes. The longest rivers are the Selenge, the Kherlen, and the Orkhon. So the deepest lakes are Khubsugul, Uvs and Buir. Mongolian climate is continental. Summers are hot and dry, winters are very cold. There are many animals in our country. For example: sheep, horses, camels, cows, goats, wild sheep and ibex, wolves, foxes, bears aand many birds. These animals very rich reproduction and propagation. There are beautiful flowers everywhere in summer.
Mongolian people are very wonderful and famous population. Most of the population are Khalkh. They are delicate features. I thinks they’re good looking. Most of them have got long black hair, big dark eyes and light white skin. Mongolian people are very kind, generous, friendly and honest. So they are very hardworking. They can live quiet and happy.
Most people of mongolia live in ger. Also live in small wooden houses and cabins. For many years they have lived in gers. It is a traditional house covered with felt. Gers are white and round can be put up and down in a short time. In winter ger is warm but in summer it is cool. We use wood and cool to make fire People usually live in a ger in the countryside.
Mongolian people traditional costume is the Del. Del is long with long sleeves. We have a winter del. It’s very warm. Mongolian clothes are made of fabric, leather, sheepskin and felt. Colour is very many relations. Mongolia del is different in very nationality.
Mongolian food is really delicious. Most of thier food from the animals they herd. They eat lot of meat, especially, mutton but also meat from cows, horses, goats and camels. So they eat vegetables, rice and noodles. They like to milk tea and airag. Milk from cows and sheep is also used for making butter and cheese. The diary products is very good for body.
Mongols use two scripts. These are Mongol and Cyrillic Mongolia scriptis vertical. There are 35 letters in the Cyrillic alphabet.
Mongolian national holidays are Naadam and Tsagaan sar. Naadam is called “three games of men” those are wrestling archery and horse racing. Wrestlers wear zodog shuudag, traditional boots and a hat. Mongolian men like to ride horses Tsagaan sar’s special traditional cookies Ul Boov and buuz. We visit many families and receive a lot of gifts.
Mongolia is very rich copper, cool and gold. There are a lot of companies in Mongolia. So there are a lot of theatres, museums, institutes and cinemas in Ulaanbaatar. Aslo in the center of Ulaanbaatar is situatd the biggest square named sukhbaatar square. There young people like to walk and take photographs.
Mongolia has relationships with many countries around the world. In 1921 Mongolia had the people’s Revolution mongolia became a parliamentary state mongolia entered into the global market economy. Now there are many private companies Our president is Elbegdorj. I’m so happy to live in democratic society.
